Talismans of single elements for other people

Has anyone here made a talisman of a single element for another person for a particular goal, and if so, did the person experience any of the negative sides of the element in question?
I know that working with the elements can exacerbate some of the negative character traits of that element, I am a little concerned that a talisman of an element might have a similar effect on someone who is not prepared.
