Enochian Alphabet Actually Ancient Ethiopian?

Some of you may be familiar with my book "Enochian Evocation" aka "The Enochian Evocation of Doctor John Dee." (Originally Heptangle Books, now published by Weiser)

I recently traveled to Ethiopia and was surprised to discover what, at first glance, appeared to be Enochian letters on some of the manuscripts in the old churches.

Since Ethiopia was where the "Book of Enoch" (originally part of what became the old testament) was preserved, I thought it was interesting enough to look into, especially since I'd done a fair amount of work on magical alphabets.

Here's an article where I present the similarities, with some illustrations:

BTW, I just discovered this forum and am incredibly impressed with the amount of work and thought that has gone into it and the depth of knowledge of so many of the contributors. I've been away too long!
