Aurobindo on the 4-fold Nature

The quote I am about to share is in my opinion one of the most adequate descriptions of the four-fold ain/ain soph/ain soph aur/kether aspect of divinity. Also see Euler's Equation. The parenthesis and numbers are mine to enhance clarity.

(I.) A changeless imperishable infinity, (II.) a timeless eternity, (III.) a self-awareness which is not this receptive and tentacular mental consciousness, but is behind and above it and present too below it, even in what we call Inconscience, (IV.) a oneness in which there is no possibility of any other existence, are the four-fold character of this settled experience. -- Sri Aurobindo, The Synthesis of Yoga (1914-1921)
