John Michael Greer is making the self-study grade material for John Gilbert's old "Magickal Order of the Golden Dawn" (which is very different than the HOGD) available on his Dreamwidth journal. (FYI, "Dreamwidth" is a functional copy of LiveJournal the way it used to be.) A fascinating part of Gilbert's system is enabling further offshoots and temples with new names and themes once an initiate attains mastery of the techniques and higher grades. So the MOGD became the "Fellowship of the Hermetic Rose" in Greer's iteration of the work. The great part about this is that it's all legal, free, and intended to proliferate in a kind of open-source way.
