Hecate experiences?

Hi!
Has anyone here had experiences or worked with Hecate?
Personally i have done an initiation ritual from "the queen of hell" (mark alan smith).
From what i have read about her i can not wrap my head around this.
In the ritual i saw her in front of me,and there she seemed calm and observering.
The strange thing is, that i have been experiencing more sinister and destructive things.
Feeling like i am being controlled/attacked.
A very aggressive and hatefull personality was what i saw and felt for a good period of time.
It has only made me more confused.
If this personality is related to her i do not know.
So if anyone could share experiences or shed some light on this that would be great.
