Attack politicians, corporations and public figures

Hi,in June I tried to attack a politician who is making our worker life impossible, by using a Psionic machine with a Goetic sigil, my aim was to destroy his career, a few hours later,the subject asked for his resignation and retired to a position more protected from which he can continue to do his business.
Few days later my young dog died of a heart problem and I couldn't stop but think there was a connection.
I think Public figures have their magical supporters propping them up. It doesn't even have to organised it. so there is always a layer of defence and I suspect this politician has a shield that automatically counterattacks
I have to find a way to attack this type of enemy (public figure) without exposing myself to retaliation, I don't think they are able to understand where the attack is coming from, so I guess they have some sort of magical shield to keep enemies away. Any suggestion?
