Bornless One Invocation

Is it ok to recite the invocation of the bornless one anytime of the day, even if we are not planning to do the NAP ritual?

And its okay to recite this invocation before the very beginning of the any ritual, or before we start opening the 5 avatar power gates?

Hello,

I assume you are working with the NAP book by Geof Gray-Cobb?

You can work the Invocation of the Bornless One anytime.

However, if you are going to do the Invocation a lot,

I would build up to doing that over a period of time.

Which version of this ritual are you using?

I use an older version of the ritual called the Invocation of the Headless One.

This is another translation of the same ritual.

I am really liking this because it is short and to the point.

I like to work the Headless One ritual after the Opening of the Power Gates,

and the Circulation of the Body of Light.

It adds to the power flowing through you.

This is most likely why Geof Gray-Cobb ordered things the way he did...

I'm 98% sure that the recording of the ritual itself is Regardie doing the invocation for the Golden Dawn Audio Tapes. Its pitch modified and has effects on it, but I'm fairly certain that is Regardie himself reciting the invocation. I love the presentation.

I think the Bornless One Ritual is as important and supreme as the standard pentagram banishing. I usually include some sort of cognate formula in every magickal action.

Like others have said before me, you can practice it at any time.

You may notice it's the preliminary invokation of The Goetia.

and, it's purpose is to align you with your Higher-Self/HGA

in fact, some people- such as myself- have utilized it in the past to ally myself with same.

A more accurate translation is available in The Greek Magical Papyri in Translation under the title of Stele of Jeu the Hieroglyphist in his letter

Here is a rough transcription I made from the book. Doubled vowels (OO, EE) should be pronounced long i.e., as omega and eta .

Note that there is some text on preparation which should be done before the ritual
"I summon you, Headless One, who created earth and heaven, who created
night and day, / you who created light and darkness; you are Osoronnophris ~
whom none has ever seen; you are Iabas; you arc Iapos; you have distinguished the just
and the unjust; you have made female and male; / you have revealed seed and fruits;
you have made men love each other and hate each other.
"I am Moses your prophet to whom you have transmitted your mysteries/
celebrated by Israel; you have revealed the moist and the dry and all nourishment;
hear me.
"I am the messenger of Pharaoh Osoronnophris; / this is your true name which
has been transmitted to the prophets of Israel. Hear me, ARBATHIAOO REIBET
ATHELEBERSEETH [ARA] BLATHA ALBEU EBBNPHCHI CHITASGOEE IBAOOTH IAO; /
listen to me and turn away this daimon."
"I call upon you, awesome and invisible god with an empty spirit," AROGOGO -
ROBRAOO SOCHOU MODORIOO PHALARCHAO O O O . Holy Headless Onc, deliver him,
NN, from the daimon which restrains him, 1 ROUBRIAOO MARI ODAM BAABNABAOOTH
ASS ADOONAI APHNIAO ITHOOLEETH ABRASAX AEEOOOOY; mighty Headless One,
deliver him, NN, from the daimon which restrains him. 1 MABARRAIO IOEEL KOTHA
ATHOREEBALOO ABRAOOTH, deliver him, NN AOOTH ABRAOOTH BASYM ISAK SABAOOTH
IAOO. I
"He is the lord of the gods; he is the lord of the inhabited world; he is thec one
whom the winds fear; he is the one who made all things by the command of his
voice."
"Lord, King, Master, Helper, /save the soul, IEOU PYR IOU PYR JAOOT IAEEOO
IOOU ABRASAX SABRIAM OO YY EY 00 YY ADOONAIE, immediately, immediately,'"
good messenger of God ANLALA LAI GAIA APA DIACHANNA CHORYN." 1
"I am the headless daimon with my sight in my feet; [I am] the mighty one [who
possesses] the immortal fire; I am the truth who hates the fact that unjust deeds arc
done in the world; I am the one who makes the lightning flash and the thunder
roll; I I am the one whose sweat is the heavy rainI4 which falls upon the earth that it
might be inseminated; I am the one whose mouth bums completely; I am the one
who begets and destroys; / I am the Favor of the Aion; my name is a heart encircled
by a serpent; come forth and follow."

Preparation for the foregoing ritual: Write the formula'' on a new sheet of papyrus,
and after extending it from one / of your temples to thc other, read the 6
names, while you face north saying,
"Subject to me all daimons, so that every daimon, whether heavenly or aerial or
earthly or subterranean or terrestrial or aquatic, might be obedient to me and every
enchantment and scourge which is from God." And all daimons will be obedient
to you.

I'm having trouble finding this ritual in the NAP book, what is it called?
I'm assuming its in chapter 7, and i think the ritual of the Power Gates is the one based on the Middle Pillar...

In the NAP book, it's on page 142 and it's called "Invocation to Strengthen the Fountain of Your new Avatar Power". It is an abbreviated, but none-the-less very powerful version. I've used this version before I knew of the others and it is very potent.
