Possible translation for DeeHay Thoouth...

Hello Everybody,

I was reading through author Tony Mierzwicki's book,

Graeco-Egyptian Magick.

And lo and behold I turned to page 111 in this book.

The word THOOUTH appears to be the god Hermes' Wondrous Victory Charm.

The author writes: "The words to be recited are "THOOUTH,

give victory, strength, influence to the wearer."

The author draws from The Greek Magical Papyri in Translation,

and The Homeric Hymns, in his book, Graeco-Egyptian Magick.

I am enjoying this book and planning a planetary evocation soon.

Awesome find! I have never seen that spelling before but I had an inkling that was somewhat the case as both Thoth/Hermes are classified as somewhat the same deity, just in their respective pantheons. I might need to grab a copy of that book! Good luck with the evocation!

Hi Brother Butterball --

Now that's a find -- your books sounds interesting. I am wondering if your book says anything about the Bornless or Headless Ritual?

Thanks for posting about Thoouth .. .

Hello Frater EOE,

Yes, I would definitely recommend the book, Graeco Egyptian Magick.

The author has you work through an ordered path of evocations.

I am planning to jump ahead to the god Zeus and the planet Jupiter,

contrary to what the author recommends.

These evocations are beautifully worded.

All the best to you,

Hello Celestials,

This book is quite good. It is as brief and to the point as books can be.

There is not any mention of the Bornless Ritual so far.

However, in the back of the book, the author writes about a Gnostic writing,

the helps you transcend the duality of for and against,

and perhaps find your HGA, higher self.

A tip, if you summon Zeus and he looks like an old, weak man, tell him to bring to the forefront of his being the aspects of himself when he was young and muscular and with a full head of hair. He isn't widely seen as so powerful these days in the modern world and he gets a bit bummed about it. Sometimes, spirits need a little encouragement, too. He's also a big fan of junk food. Don't ask me why, he just goes ape shit over the stuff.

Thanks for the tip, Gordon.

Zeus is a friend of mine. And he told me to tell you that he still shoots lighting bolts from his fingertips.

You had best be wearing flame proof undergarments. Zeus is liable to scorch you...
