Trouble Relaxing

I am working NAP and I can feel it, however I am having difficulty in completely going to that relaxed state.

Every creek or noise from the house or appliance is blocking me.

I am frustrated and wondering if I should go with Bin aural beats in headphones to get where I need to be.

Any thoughts

Try recording it. It helps that youre not trying to relax and read at the same time.

Try focusing on your brain to relax and then move the sensation down your spine to the rest of the body.

Monsieur Mark, practice practice practice, don't worry. Your body has to get use to it just be perseverant, it takes some time. It costed me a lot to get to the point where you feel your body completely relaxed, but you once you do you'll know how it feels. If you wanta try some audio, get the silva ultramind remote viewing and influecing method by Dennis Higgins and John La Tourrette, it's got a very good relaxing exercise

Thank you all for these great ideas

I am getting on with these now and will be trying each and every one. I think I am pushing too fast to try and reach the meat without proper relaxation.

The creeks and appliance noises really disrupt me.

Besides meditative sounds you could just try regular music.

See what works best.

Here,s what I did

I downloaded Audacity audio mixer.
I recorded the power ritual with my voice.
Then I imported some great soft piano type music .
Then I merged the two tracks and now its my voice put to the music.
I lowered the music track and raised the voice track and I ended up with a pretty good relaxing piece.

If anyone wants it to hear or whatever I can provide a link.

This took all of 15mins

TY

Good job 62truckmark! I did something similar but incorporated binaural beats instead of piano. I find it helpful to tell myself, "Any external noise will help me to remember to relax. I will go deeper and deeper with every thought to relax." Seems to work pretty well.

Sometimes its counterproductive. Like trying to fall asleep the night before some big day.

Give it a try at night, when your body is accustomed to rest and relax.
