Hey guys, I was wondering if its possible to do the rituals/invocations in my head instead of saying out loud during the days there are people present in my house. I prefer them not to hear my ritual process. Is this possible and as effective still?
i don't think it matters as much as people think it does. i do my rituals without saying a word at times, just all in my head, and there is no visible lack of success.
i think only when i do the attracting/banishing ritual that i prefer to vocalize out loud.

sweet this makes it so much better for me. Im excited to perform NAP twice a day. once right after I wake up and once right before I go to bed at night.

The power of the spoken words it is well known. It carries more power that the one said in the mind.
Agreed with Nox. I would say that it might not be important for each and every ritual one might be doing, but some (Enochian comes to mind) place a lot of importance on the notion of speaking as vibration. There are methods to sub-vocalize with vibration out there if you need to be less audible. I'll post up what I can find.
vocalization is a tool that helps link magick to the physical realm much like wands, chalices, etc etc. but like i said, i don't think it matters as much as people think it does.
and while it may be true that some systems does put emphasis on vocalization, i don't particularly think it's that necessary for NAP.
