#!. Freedom of Religion means that any religious sect and there actions are acceptable within the confines of the law.
That means a "Pagan Marriage" has to legally be accepted and acknowledged by the state.
#2. Not everyone is Christian therefore not everyone wants or needs to be married through Christian vows ie legal marriage in the United States.
#3. Not everyone wants a man to marry them at there wedding. Meaning if we had Freedom of Religion a female priestess and or witch would see through the marriage vows.
#4. Not everyone wants to get married the same way. And most importantly for #4 not all heterosexuals want to get married the same way as homosexuals.
Native Americans won't have to bend to Christian ways in order to be seen as wife and husband anymore! It retains culture!

I now claim that any heterosexual couple who want to get married you are highly encouraged by the lord above to marry through pagan rituals.
