pros - it is interesting, you get to hear about the different ramas
if it is of your liking, you get to see some rituals and what not
you get to hear people's positive and negative opinions of palo in venezuela
which they call palerismo.
cons - i wouldnt have minded if it went more in depth into the background on palo.
i think there was way too much emphasis on animal sacrifice. i dont have
a problem with animal sacrifice at all, obviously, but, it does get a little bit..
like, "oh! look at this animal sacrifice! again!"
oh well, it is to be expected in atr documentaries
yet, i think it is ok..
and i enjoy seeing and reading about palo's history
and emergence in venezuela.
these videos are old, from 1999?
